· Demonstrating and educating on newborn care (general infant care, sleep, soothing techniques, babywearing etc.) to help with the transition to motherhood
· Offering education and tips on infant feeding (both breastfeeding and bottle feeding) As an IBCLC, I am able to offer advanced education in these areas.
· Providing unbiased, evidence based information to help guide decision making
· Answering “Is this normal…?” questions
· Providing appropriate referrals, when indicated
